How to play
- Every word you type is a punch. The longer the word and the faster you type it, the harder it hits.
- Words in a row without a mistake build a combo: ×1.5 from 5 words, ×2 from 10, ×3 from 20.
- Perfect words fill the special move meter. When it is full, the next word is a long one that hits three times harder.
- When the villain attacks, a red word appears: type it before the bar runs out to block the blow.
- A wrong letter types nothing and breaks your combo. Three in a row and Octo is dizzy for a second.
The villains
Each villain trains one skill: the Typo Gremlin swaps letters (read carefully), Captain Caps Lock shouts in capitals (the Shift key), the Backspace Bandit erases your last letter when you pause (a steady rhythm), Professor Punctuation adds commas and question marks, the Number Crusher brings numbers and symbols, and The Deadline, the final boss, attacks fast with long words.
Five ways to fight
- The ladder: beat the six villains one after another and earn up to three stars each.
- Daily boss: the same villain and the same words for everyone all day; share your result.
- Endless: villains one after another, each tougher, until you fall.
- Custom fight: choose the villain, its speed, the words (even your weak keys or your own text), the life and the rules, then send the fight to a friend with a link.
- Online duel: your Octo against a friend's, live; every word you type hits them. No friend online? Shadow Octo takes the challenge.
