Sentences you already know
Proverbs are short, familiar sentences: your brain reads them at a glance, so your fingers can focus on rhythm. They also bring capitals and punctuation, like real writing.
The proverbs come one after another, in a random order, until the time is up.
What you will type
Each language has 25 proverbs, written in their usual form, with capitals, commas and full stops. They come in a random order, never the same one twice in a row, and a new round starts once they have all been typed.
Reading your result
Expect a slightly lower score than on the plain word test: capitals and punctuation take extra keystrokes. The gap shrinks as Shift and the punctuation keys become automatic.
Tips
- Press Shift with the little finger of the opposite hand.
- Read the whole proverb once: you know where it is going, so you can keep a steady rhythm.
